HEFTY PRICE (8) continues to race well this time in work, the latest effort a solid second over 6f at Tamworth. Should be poised just off the lead. Expected to be in the finish. BOLD BENDER (9) is a 23-start maiden who finished fifth after being in contention on the corner at her most recent appearance over 6f at Coonamble. Well placed on this occasion and gets her chance to break the ice. MARVEL MAN (4) was in contention on the turn and finished second last time over 5½f at Wellington when resuming from a lay-off, beaten a long neck. Placed to advantage so expect a forward showing. MERE MORTAL (5) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 15 lengths away in ninth over 7f at Sapphire Coast. No surprise to see him in contention.
