CAUSATION (3) was well supported when resuming last start but missed the placings in fourth over 5f at Cranbourne. Should be prominent from the outset. Expected to be in the finish. FIREFINCH (12) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5f at Dubbo, beaten 9 lengths into sixth after being in contention on the corner. Finds a nice race and can turn things around. MASTER OF DISGUISE (11) stepped out on her debut over 4½f at Goulburn three weeks ago and finished fourth, beaten 2.75 lengths. Worth following up. ASPEN BOULEVARD (13) returns from a lay-off of 12 weeks. Was safely held at the only appearance last prep when fourth over 6f at Pakenham. Under the care of new trainer Gayna Williams this prep. One to consider.
