Could prove fit with recent racing behind him and remains one of the chief contenders on best form. KIND TOUCH (4) is an unexposed gelding who has not missed the frame in two starts. Returns having finished second attempting 6f at Pontefract in September. Represents the main danger. MIGHTY MAGNUS (6) improved when third contesting 5f at Thirsk beaten 1. 5L and finds the right race to go close. Makes appeal. MERLIER (3) arrives after a Beverley win and his early speed may give him every chance. Not discounted.
