TOPHET (1) was well fancied when resuming last start and proved too strong, scoring by 1. 4 lengths over 5f at Ballina. Will be better for that latest run and is a great chance to get the prize again. SUPERSONIC MAN (3) is coming along nicely this prep. Finished seventh when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at Ballina then improved and scored over 5½f at this track eight days ago, getting home by 0. 6 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. COUNT NICHOLAS (5) faded last time to finish ninth over 5½f at Gatton after showing good early speed. Worth another chance. BRUTAL SUE (10) resumes from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months and is having her first outing under new trainer Chris & Corey Munce. Finished eighth at Gold Coast over 6f at the opening run last time in work. Ran sixth in a trial at Deagon over 5¼f recently.
