SALT LAKE BETTY (6) was comfortably accounted for when eighth last time out over 5½f at Toowoomba, beaten 5.5 lengths. That followed a win at Ipswich at the previous outing. Finds the right race this time and can get the job done. VOCALS (12) was beaten 2. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
