PRETTY RHO (12) improved sharply on her fifth two starts back at Doomben with success over 7f at Gatton two weeks ago, getting home by a head after she came from a long way back on straightening. Must raise the bar but another big run will not surprise. ZATTASTAR (11) returned from a lay-off a month ago when she was beaten 3 lengths into tenth over 6f at Gold Coast. Has a solid second up record. Strips fitter and can find the winner's circle. VACILLATION (10) settled well back then picked up fairly well in the straight and finished 2.5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 6f at Gold Coast Poly two-and-a-half weeks ago. Steps up in journey. Won't find this as tough. Should be involved in the finish. CANADIAN EXPRESS (2) returned from a lay-off last start with a strong win by 0.9 lengths over 7½f at Warwick. Will be better for that latest run and is worth following up.
