GUERRERA (2) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a lay-off on 27/09/2024, finishing eighth and beaten 8 lengths over 6½f at Coleraine. Hasn't scored when fresh from a break but generally races well with two minor placings. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. DOYLE (8) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then was beaten 4 lengths when sixth in a 5½f contest at Lismore three weeks ago. Beautifully placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. WARRIOR CHIEF (9) gave a bold sight at the latest appearance over 5f at Ballina but dropped out to finish seventh. Has a high cruising speed. Will be in this for a long way. SON OF HEROIC (7) was beaten 11 lengths into ninth over 1m1 1/2f at Ballina last time out. Well placed to bounce back.
