SPYLARK (3) returned from a break last start with a mediocre 11th over 7f at Mildura after giving away a big start. Finds a suitable assignment and can take this out. SHAMEX (7) was impressive last time over 1m2f at Casterton, scoring by 2. 5 lengths. Is going well this campaign, recording a win and a minor placing from three starts. Expected to be in the finish. JUST DANCE (9) turned in a modest performance when 11th last time out over 1m3f at Bairnsdale, beaten 8 lengths. That followed a win at Cranbourne at the previous outing. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is right in contention. MANGIONE (6) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 19 lengths away in fifth over 1m at Hamilton. Better than recent efforts suggest.
