HIGHSTRUNG (7) is yet to break through in seven runs. Finished 12th at his last appearance over 6¾f at Donald on September 13. This looks a nice race so expect him to be right in the finish. SECRET GLORY (11) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then didn't feature last start when 4.5 lengths away in ninth over 5½f at Bendigo. Finds the right race this time and can take this out. SIR WOODPECKER (4) is a maiden galloper who finished in the placings over 6f at Swan Hill before going for a break six months ago. Fitter for two lead-up trials, including a win. Shapes as one to consider. LANGLO CROSSING (8) is a two-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 14 lengths when seventh over 6f at Ballarat. Should progress from that last outing and poses a genuine threat.
