RICH CHAMPAGNE (5) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at Sandown-Hillside over 1m1f. Steps up a level but he is up to the task. GOLIOTUS (4) showed good early muster and fought on to finish third last start over 1m4 1/2f at Morphettville. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot salute. I AM THE EMPIRE (1) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1.5 lengths from the winner in third over 1m2 1/2f at Benalla. The engagement of Ryan Houston is noteworthy. Finds an easier assignment and can find winning form. ANY LUCK (3) finished seventh when resuming two runs back then did a good job last start but found one better over 1m1f at Coleraine, beaten only half a length. Nicely placed to find winning ways.
