GOLDEN GURU (5) knuckled down strongly to get within 0. 6 lengths of the winner in third last start over 5½f at this track when coming back from a lay-off. Will drift back but wind up late. Will be tough to stop. WINE SNOB (6) resumes from a lay-off of four months after two solid runs during the maiden campaign, the latest a fourth over 6f at Morphettville. Nicely drawn and looks ready for a bright return. ARTFUL MAXIMUS (4) is on debut for the Sarah Rutten stable. Three-year-old colt by Sir Prancealot from Social Register. Placed in a recent trial at Balaklava. Must be kept safe, particularly if there is a market lead.
