Race Tip

FANTASTIC HOST (7) turned things around last start and got the job done by 5.5 lengths after being prominent at the turn as favourite over 1m1/2f at Gawler. Nicely placed to feature in the finish again. SPEAKEASY (6) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing fourth and beaten only 0.6 lengths over 1m at Balaklava after being in the firing line on the corner. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. CHARTIN (1) showed good early speed and led throughout to score by 1.75 lengths last start over 7¾f at Strathalbyn. Strong performer at this stage of the prep with a win and one minor placings from three runs. Another bold showing expected. SEAFARING (8) was responsible for a better run last start, beaten 3 lengths into fifth over 7f32yards at Naracoorte. No surprise to see him in the frame.
