FAVOURITE CHILD (4) was successful last start over 7½f at Gawler, getting home by 3.5 lengths to make it three wins on the bounce. Must raise the bar but another big run will not surprise. RIVERPLATE (1) was heavily backed and justified the support when resuming last start over 7f at this track, scoring by 2.25 lengths. Open to plenty of improvement and he looms as a significant threat. SOARING EAGLE (2) is progressing well this campaign. Opened with a ninth at Flemington two starts back then got the job done by a nose last time out over 1m at Morphettville. Steps up a level but she is capable of another big run. BONNIE GANGSTER (11) has been in the placings her past two starts, finishing second over 1m1/2f at Gawler last time out. Hard to fault of late.
