MY BALBOA (4) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 9 lengths away in sixth over 6f at this track. Ideally placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. BLANTON (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 4½f at this track, beaten 6 lengths into fourth after being prominent at the bend. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. THE IRISH RANTER (8) was unplaced two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 6f at Horseshoe Indianapolis, beaten 16 lengths into fourth. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
