HOPE AND GLORY (5) started at 17/2 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 12 lengths at Nowra over 7f. Likely improver with strong prospects. KOOL BIRD (7) is struggling to break through but hasn't been far away, the latest effort a fifth beaten 2.5 lengths over 6f at Queanbeyan. Has been thereabouts without winning and looks well placed to break through. CARAVANSERAI (4) scored two runs back then was well supported last time but could only manage to finish sixth over 7f at Nowra after he had settled well back. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. A MILLION ROSES (6) was safely held last time when she dropped out to finish 12th at Canberra Acton but down in the weights. Rates well and looks an each way chance on best form.
