MARTY MCFLY (14) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when he was in contention on the corner before being beaten 3. 5 lengths into fourth over 5½f at Wodonga. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time. THE NEPHILIM (2) returns from a lay-off of five-and-a-half months and is having his first run for a new yard. Finished fourth at Ballarat over 5f when when resuming last time in work. Placed in a recent trial. One of the better hopes despite the layoff. SAY IT HOW IT IS (5) is a three-start maiden who finished 11th, beaten 8 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Swan Hill. Will derive great benefit from that outing and deserves consideration. SOMETHING WHITE (7) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5f at Ballarat, beaten 3 lengths into fifth. Capable of featuring prominently.
