DELIGHTFUL SHECKY (7) knuckled down strongly to get within a long neck of the winner in second last start over 6¼f at this track. Solid prospects. VAIL MOUNTAIN (1) built on a nice second two starts back at Sandown-Hillside with a win over 7f at Sandown-Lakeside two-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by one length. Meeting a deeper field this time but he deserves plenty of thought. LAYERUPONLAYER (3) finished eighth two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 7f at Murray Bridge, beaten only one length. This looks a good race for him so another forward showing looks likely.
