Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. MIDNIGHT POKER (7) returns from a lay-off of five months and did score when resuming when last in work at Stony Creek over 5f. Lines up for the first time for the Aaron Bain & Ned Taylor stable. Will be fit enough for this following a recent trial win. Solid top-three hope. SILENT ALERT (1) last appeared six weeks ago over 6f at Swan Hill when he finished sixth. This is his first run for the W Clarken & N O'shea stable. Kept up to the mark with a recent placing in a Balaklava trial.
