GROWING EMPIRE (1) was ridden positively and led throughout to score over 6f in the LR St Albans Stakes at Moonee Valley last time. Has the speed to overcome the draw and best form puts him right in this. KARAVAS (7) ran on strongly but just failed to pick up the winner when fresh from a lay-off as favourite last start over 5f in the LR Dequetteville Stakes at Morphettville Parks. Will strip a lot fitter this time around. Meeting a deeper field this time but she has the ability to mix it with them. PURE AQUA (8) recorded a strong maiden win over 5¼f in the LR Queen Adelaide Stakes at this track last time, getting there by 1.1 lengths. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Looks well placed and she is worth including. KHADIME (11) raced on the pace over 6f at Sandown-Lakeside on debut last start and went on to win by 2.5 lengths. Can sneak into the finish again.
