Change of rider to Todd Pannell who has an excellent strike rate when in the saddle, including four wins. Leading contender. JAZZ AFFAIR (15) finished third when resuming two runs back at this track then progressed nicely last time out to score by 1.3 lengths over 6¼f at this track. Likely to be in the finish again. MARACOURT (7) was well fancied last time but could only manage third over 7¾f at this track after being in the firing line on the turn. Has a solid record at this distance Sure to be competitive. TEXAN WINDSTORM (2) finished in the money at each run this campaign before a deserved win last time over 7f at this track. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Must be respected.
