STOLI BOLLI (4) was well supported when resuming last time out over 5½f at Flemington and proved too strong, scoring by a nose. Open to plenty of improvement and is all set to make it two-for-two this prep. DUCHESS ZOU (10) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then did a good job last start but found one better over 6f at Caulfield, beaten only a head after being prominent at the corner. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. NIMBUSTWOTHOUSAND (6) knuckled down strongly to get within a nose of the winner in second last start over 5½f at Flemington. Has a win and three minor placings at this journey from six starts and is expected to be competitive. IMMORTAL STAR (5) returns from a short break after a minor placing over 6f at Caulfield four weeks ago. Fitness levels maintained by a recent Cranbourne trial placing. Has claims if she runs up to expectations.
