SHUT EYE (8) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when eighth, beaten 7 lengths, over 6f at Cranbourne after he got a long way back. Should be peaking now and will be tough to beat. FLY ON BYE (2) progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 6f at Seymour after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. Group 2 placegetter OUR COUVER (4) finished ninth over 7½f in the G2 Phar Lap Stakes at Rosehill at his most recent appearance on March 16. Among the better hopes.
