Showed early speed from an outside draw last start and raced on the pace before boxing on well to finish second, beaten 0.8 lengths, over 6f in the LR Bel Esprit Stakes at Caulfield. Nicely placed to play a major role. Multiple Group 3 placegetter SAVANNAH CLOUD (2) built on a nice third two starts back in the G3 Shaftesbury Avenue Handicap at Flemington with a win over 6f at Yarra Valley three weeks ago, getting home by a nose. Thomas Stockdale scored on him last time and retains the ride. Perfectly placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. GRAND IMPACT (11) Group 3 winner. Ran a bold race over this journey last time, leading for much of the way before fading out of it late to finish 2.25 lengths away in fifth at Moonee Valley. Takes on a better field this time but he is likely to feature. Group 2 winner JIGSAW (1) has been about the mark of late.
