SETHNIQUE (2) was prominent through the early and middle stages but peaked on his run and finished fourth when resuming over 6f at Tamworth last start. Well-placed to turn things around. ZOU DE LAGOS (4) resumes from a lay-off of eight months and is having his first outing under new trainer Paul Isaac. Finished fourth at Kyneton over 7f58yards at the opening run last time in work. Ran sixth in a trial at Mornington over 5f recently. Has found a suitable race and can take this out. ZOUGO BOSS (5) is a 10-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten one length when fourth over 6f at Gilgandra. Bold showing expected with added fitness this time. SPEED OF GOLD (3) finished second last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 4½f at Scone when he made late ground, beaten 2.25 lengths. Going up a level this time but he is up to the challenge.
