PILLAGER (9) did little and finished 6 lengths from the winner in eighth over 1m at Dubbo last start after being prominent at the turn, a less impressive effort than his fourth at Mudgee the run before. Finds a nice race and can figure in the finish. IMPENDING FORTUNE (1) finished second last start over 6f87yards at Muswellbrook, beaten a long neck. Nicely placed to play a major role. ARTIE'S MAGIC (2) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at Tamworth, beaten 4 lengths into fourth after being prominent at the corner. Ideally placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping.
