MR ENCORE (1) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0.9 lengths from the winner in third over 5f at Gold Coast. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. SURREAL ASCOT (2) finished third two runs back at Toowoomba then improved last time out to score by 2.25 lengths as favourite over 6f at Kilcoy. Stepping up a level this time but on current form she is one of the chief contenders. SUPER SIOUX (7) bounced back last start and got the job done by a nose after being prominent at the bend over 4f at Narromine. No reason she cannot salute again. OCTAVIAN TREASURE (8) was beaten 3.5 lengths into sixth in a 5f contest at Dubbo last time out. Well placed to make amends.
