Fitter for one trials, filling a minor placing at her most recent appearance. Has never missed the frame when fresh from a lay-off in two starts. Has good early toe so she should be handy in the run. Expected to be in the finish. SUN SETTING (10) wound up strongly but just failed to pick up the winner as favourite last start over 5½f at Flemington. Taking on a better field but she is good enough to make a serious impact. BALASTIER (11) went fast early over 5½f at Bendigo last time and dug deep to score by 2.25 lengths. Drawn to enjoy a good run on the speed. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. ENNA'S DREAM (9) progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 6½f at Sandown-Hillside after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
