KARBURAN (2) went forward last start over 1m4 3/4f at Flemington and held on well for third, beaten 4.5 lengths. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is worth serious consideration. OMAMORI (5) lifted strongly to score last time with 0.8 lengths to spare over 1m4 1/4f at Moe, making it two on the bounce. Should camp just off the leaders. Will be in this for a long way. JENNY THE BEAVER (8) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at Warrnambool over 1m7 1/2f. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time.
