Likely improver with strong prospects. SIMEON (1) improved sharply on his seventh two starts back at Mornington with a win over 7½f at Mornington five weeks ago, getting home by a neck after being in contention on the turn. Finds a tougher race but another big run is on the cards. JAZ TYCOON (10) showed little early speed last start then lengthened in good style in the straight to finish second at this track over this journey. Will be doing his best work late. AWESOME LINEUP (11) registered a strong win two runs ago then turned in a decent effort last time out when second over 1m at Morphettville, beaten a nose. Worth another chance.
