YES LULU (10) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when 11th, beaten 5.5 lengths, over 5½f in the G3 Red Roses Stakes at Flemington. Has the class to figure prominently. CLEAN REEF (9) is back from a break of five months. Raced twice in her maiden campaign and wasn't far away on either occasion including the last run when third over 6½f at Sandown-Hillside. Should take a lot from that first campaign and should be in the finish. Is among the leading chances. WELCOMETOTHESHOW (8) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 6f38yards at Geelong when third, beaten 1.3 lengths. Has plenty of upside so another bold showing is expected. QUICK SPELL (3) is a three-year-old gelding who was purchased for AUD $ 200,000 (Magic Millions 2023 Gold Coast Yearling Sale) and has yet to stall trial trial publicly. Top jockey Blake Shinn aboard. Hard to assess, so will pay to keep safe.
