BASHFUL BABY (7) returned from a break last start with a mediocre sixth over 6f at Aqueduct Inner Turf (Dirt) after settling well back. Ideally placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. CHESTERTOWN JANE (11) was in the firing line all the way and fought on for third last start over 5½f at Laurel (Dirt), making it two minor placings in a row. Should race just off the speed despite the wide draw. Tackling a more suitable race so she is sure to prove hard to beat. APRIL SPUN (6) is a six-start maiden who is well and truly overdue, finishing second at Tampa Bay Downs Turf (Turf) over 5f last time out. Finds the right race this time and can get the job done. DERBY HANGOVER (5) is tested on a turf track for the first time. On her return from a lengthy lay-off. Finished seventh at Gulfstream Park All Weather (Synthetic) over 5f when last resuming. One of the genuine hopes in the race.
