JOHNNY COME LATELY (4) resumed over 5½f at Monmouth Park Turf (Turf) last start when he sat close to the speed before fading in the straight to finish fifth, beaten 7 lengths. Worth another chance. ESSENTIALLY FAST (6) looks close to a win, finishing in the placings at his last couple of runs including a third most recently over 6f at this track (Dirt) when beaten 4. 5 lengths. Don't underestimate.
