LAFONT (8) was allowed to drift back from a wide draw when resuming last time out then found the line strongly to grab third over 7f62yards at Kilmore. Will drift back but is expected to be in the finish again. NEVRA QUEEN (12) led throughout last start to score an effortless 6 lengths win over 1m at Hamilton. Will prove very tough to beat. ROSE VELVET (3) was a most impressive maiden winner over 1m at this track last time out when resuming, scoring by 2. 5 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Tougher assignment this time but is one of the main contenders. INFINITE JEST (5) is close to breaking through, last start finishing just a neck away in second over 7f27yards at Werribee. Likely improver with strong prospects.
