GODTFRED KIRK (5) drifted well back then came with a powerful run to finish 2 lengths from the winner in second when resuming last start over 5½f at Pakenham. Blinkers come off and he stripsh fitter. Sure to go well. ANGLESEA (6) took advantage of a low draw last time and stalked the lead before going on to score by 1. 5 lengths over 6f at this track. In fine form and worth following up. RUSSIAN FRONT (9) finished fourth over 6½f at Sandown-Hillside at his most recent appearance on February 4. Among the better hopes. GOLDEN SPRITZ (2) has been kept fresh for this since a disappointing fifth last start over 6½f at Bendigo five weeks ago. Should settle handy in the run. Must be respected.
