GRAND SAGE (15) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when ninth, beaten 6 lengths, over 7f at Pakenham Synthetic. Finds a nice race and can feature in the finish. TIGHT GRIP (14) didn't do a bad job when fifth last start over 1m at this track, beaten 2.75 lengths. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Finds a suitable assignment and can rediscover winning form. SHOT AT THE NIGHT (2) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing fourth and beaten only 2 lengths over 1m at this track. Suitably placed so anticipating another bold showing.
