SLIPSTREAMING (8) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 3.5 lengths when seventh over 7½f at Bendigo two weeks ago. Finds a suitable assignment and can turn things around. TOMBOULDER (11) has not won for a long while. Last raced on July 6 when beaten 11 lengths into eighth at Warrnambool over 1m3 3/4f after being in contention on the bend. This doesn't look as hard so he is set to turn things around. RULE OF SALEX (13) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 9 lengths away in eighth over 1m2 1/2f at Echuca. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
