Unbeaten over this journey and rates a top chance again. FOXYKOBY (5) showed good early speed from the inside draw last time and stalked the lead before going on to record a long neck win over 5½f at Stony Creek. Likely to be in the finish again. MANHATTAN THUNDER (1) raced below his best last time when ninth over 5f at Pakenham, beaten 5.5 lengths. Perfectly placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. BOLD RESPONSE (3) is back from a five months lay-off and he does run well when resuming, including a win over 5f at Cranbourne at the start of last prep. One of the genuine hopes in the race.
