ORIENTAL DANE (3) was well fancied last start over 6½f at Alexandra when third, beaten 6 lengths. Tricky draw but worth another chance. SON OF ZORRO (4) hadn't been far away prior to finishing 7 lengths adrift in ninth last start over 5f185yards at Wangaratta. Has a decent record at this trip with three minor placings from four tries and should be hard to stop. NOBLE NIGHTCRAWLER (7) gave a bold sight at the latest appearance over 5f at Gundagai but dropped out to finish 11th. Should park just off the speed. Will give backers a great sight. NEPELA (1) was beaten 3. 5 lengths into eighth over 5f196yards at Gundagai last time out. Nicely placed to find some form.
