INDIAN HILLS (5) recorded a strong maiden win over 7f152yards at Alexandra last time, getting there by 1. 3 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Tricky draw to overcome but she should be in the finish. SILVER SPRINGS (8) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Woolamai, beaten 1. 75 lengths into fourth. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. THE VILLAGE FOX (3) accounted for a maiden field over 1m at Merton last start, finishing a nose ahead of the nearest rival. Re-unites with Shaun Cooper who was on board last start. Harder here but should be involved in the finish. GEMMA NASCOSTA (7) accounted for a maiden field over 1m1/4f at Healesville last start, finishing 2. 75 lengths ahead of the nearest rival. Mr C Kirkpatrick was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. Tougher assignment this time but is one of the main contenders.
