BITTER SPIRIT (6) was too good for a maiden field last start over 5½f at this track, scoring by half a length. Re-unites with Ashley Butler who was on board last start. Looms as one of the hardest to beat again. BO BO BEWARE (3) finished third over 1m1f at this track at his most recent appearance on September 12. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. POWER CHIC (9) finished 2. 2 lengths back from the winner last start at Thangool and is down in weight this time. Expected to be competitive. VANCOUVER BAY (5) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a long neck from the winner in second over 7½f at Innisfail. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
