THISLAND IS MYLAND (3) went back early from his wide draw over 6f at this track last time but hit the line strongly to finish fourth. Well placed and the one to beat. JEMELDI (1) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when tenth, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 4¾f at Cairns. Beautifully placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. CAPTAIN FOX (2) performed above expectations last time over 5½f at Rockhampton, getting the prize by a long neck. One of the main contenders. FLYING SHAMUS (5) was beaten 4.5 lengths into sixth in a 6f contest at this track at her latest appearance. Finds a nice race and can atone.
