OBLIGATED (5) is racing very well this campaign with three wins from eight attempts. Won two starts back at Townsville and went close again last time out. Record here is impressive with four wins from 10 starts. Should run well. PIPISTRELLE (3) could only manage fifth last start over 7f at Cairns, beaten 4.5 lengths. Unbeaten here in three starts. Leading contender. DILLINGER (6) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 13 lengths away in 16th over 1m2f at Townsville. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he is one of the main contenders. POET'S DAY (8) showed good early dash before weakening to be beaten 11 lengths into ninth over 7f65yards at Home Hill last time out. Has a solid record here at the distance with three wins and a minor placing from five tries. Deserves respect on best figures.
