GANGITANO (2) was well in commission last start over 7f at Thangool when fifth, beaten 6 lengths. Certainly deserves another chance. DETERMINATION (10) is close to breaking through after finishing second last start over 7f at Rockhampton when he was prominent throughout. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. MAJOR LOOK (11) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Sunshine Coast, finishing third and only 1.5 lengths from the winner at the end of 6f. Has the class to build on that encouraging effort last start. ORCA (4) resumes from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months after closing off last campaign with three consecutive minor placings. Nathan Thomas has been in the money at the last three rides. Solid claims on best form.
