Commendable record at this trip with a win and two minor placings and is sure to go well. SPARKIN (4) finished 12 lengths from the winner in fourth last start after being prominent at the bend over 6½f at this track, an improvement on his fifth at this track the run before. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. TRIPPER JOHN (5) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when eighth over 5f at this track (Dirt). Tackling a deeper field this time but he is worth another chance. FAST VERDICT (2) was well in the market when resuming last start but failed to threaten when a disappointing sixth at this track (Dirt) over 1m1/4f. Should run well.
