PINE RUN (3) missed the frame on debut then progressed nicely at his second outing when in contention on the bend, finishing one length from the winner in second at the end of 6f at Turf Paradise. Finds a tougher race but he has the talent to test this line-up. GEMINI BUZZ (2) is back after a break of 14 months. At the last run before the layoff he finished ninth over 6f at Santa Anita (Dirt). Nicely placed and expected to go well. HYDROPLANE (6) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at this track (Dirt) over 4f124yards after being in contention all the way. Will need a good ride from Francisco Monroy off the awkward draw. Finds a suitable race and can go on to take this out. FRANCESCONI (1) was safely held on debut last start, finishing 20 lengths behind the winner in ninth over 6f at Santa Anita Turf (Turf). Open to plenty of improvement. One of the hopes.
