Race Tip

COWBOY COUNTRY 123 (4) finished 1.3 lengths from the winner in fourth last time out in Group 2 grade at this track (Dirt) over 1f130yards. Has a very good record over this journey with three wins from six starts. Should be prominent from the outset. Likely to feature. SURPRISE TEMPTATION (7) returns from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months and did score when resuming when last in work at Remington Park (Dirt) over 1½f. Lines up for the first time for the Kelly Castaneda stable. Sure to be primed for this and a bold showing is anticipated. HEAVILY FAVORED (3) resumes after a break of four months. Did win at his only other when resuming run when on debut, scoring over 1f80yards at this track. Has found a suitable race to kick off the campaign. MASTROS (6) finished 3 lengths from the winner in ninth at his most recent outing over 1f130yards in Group 2 class at this track (Dirt). Suited in this line up and is among the better hopes.
