BOUGIE JOE (7) didn't do a bad job when second last start after being in the firing line on the turn over 7f at this track, beaten 0.1 lengths. That followed a win at Sam Houston Park the start prior. Must raise the bar but this looks well within his grasp. SUMMER IN MALIBU (2) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at Oaklawn Park, beaten 4 lengths into fifth. Capable of featuring prominently.
