CARPE HORSESHOE (1) was well-fancied when resuming last start but could only manage sixth, beaten 7 lengths, over 6f at this track (Dirt). Has a solid second up record. Can break through here. CONFLICTING TALES (5) produced a good run two starts back to finish second but disappointed last time when out of the placings at Sam Houston Park (Turf) over the same trip after she was prominent at the turn. Finds a more suitable contest and can turn things around. JULIARD HONOR (6) finished 1.5 lengths from the winner in third last start over 4f at Fonner Park (Dirt). Drops in weight. Has been in the money at all four starts this campaign, including a win. Strong claims on best figures. AZUNIA (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at Sam Houston Park, beaten 17 lengths into eighth. Worth noting Inosencio Diego goes aboard. Finds a nice race and can bounce back.
