PARANA RIVER (10) got off the mark over 5f at Walcha last start, scoring by a long neck. Progressing well so worth following up. FOOLS PLAY (5) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 12 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 5f at Grafton, beaten 2.5 lengths. Meets a stronger field but she is worth serious consideration. EMOTIONAL APPEAL (9) broke her maiden last start over 7f at Grafton, scoring by one length. Harder here but should be involved in the finish.
