RISK FOR REWARD (5) is still a maiden after five runs. Was one of the favoured runners last time out but after being prominent at the turn didn't live up to market expectations, finishing fourth over 7f at Grafton. Well placed on this occasion and gets his chance to break the ice. IRISH GIFT (1) was in the firing line all the way and fought on for third last start over 7f at Ballina, making it two minor placings in a row. Nicely placed to find winning ways. OCTABOOM (14) went forward last time but couldn't quicken in the run home and finished fifth over 1m1/2f at Ipswich. Among the chances in what looks a nice race for her.
